LFE
The LFE is a low-frequency mono bus dedicated to the subwoofers. It integrates a low-pass filter (2nd order IIR filter, 12 db/oct) which can be used to protect the subwoofers. It is the easiest way to integrate mono Subs in HOLOPHONIX. However, if you wish to use sound spatialization on subs, you can set a specific bus.
Header Section
Gain
The Gain controls the level of the LFE bus, displayed in the Mixer as a fader. Use the Gain to adjust the level of the LFE between -60 dB (no signal) to +12dB.
Mute
Use the mute function to cut the LFE channel of HOLOPHONIX.
Tab Section
Trim
Use the trim to adjust the level of the LFE between -80dB (no signal) and +30dB.

Delay
Use the Delay to time-align your Subwoofers with the main system. You can choose to Bypass it.
Crossover
The crossover controls the cutoff frequency of the integrated low-pass filter (2nd order IIR filter, 12 db/oct). Depending on your audio system's design, it may already include such filtering. In that case, you can Bypass the filter.
Routing
Assigning to the subwoofer(s)
Assign the LFE bus to your subwoofer(s) in the Routing window.
In the example below, the LFE of a 7.1.4 setup is routed to the 4th Output, which correspond to the Venue's subwoofer.

Please note that when you add Surround Speakers with LFE channels from the Add Menu, we recommend to use HOLOPHONIX's native LFE send, and route the LFE channel to your subwoofers in the Output Routing section (as explained above).
LFE Send in Sources
An LFE Send Level and Mute is available on all Source types. It is available in the Sends tab.
