Power Button

Press on the processor front panel button to switch your HOLOPHONIX station on or off. To avoid accidentally switching off the processor by pressing this button, a 60-second countdown is programmed. So, as soon as the button is pressed, you have 60 seconds to cancel the power-off procedure.

IEC C14 Socket

According to the chosen setup, your HOLOPHONIX processor features one or two IEC C14 mains socket(s) on its rear panel. Connect the supplied cable(s) to the socket(s), then to the mains outlet. It is strongly recommended to power the HOLOPHONIX processor via an UPS/inverter system (Uninterruptible Power System), to ensure protection, backup power and automatic voltage regulation. If your processor is equipped with redundant power supplies, an alarm sounds in case one of the power supplies fails.

Gigabit (1Gbps) Dante® Ports

The HOLOPHONIX processor handles 256 Dante® channels (128 in x128 out) with up to a 96 kHz resolution. It is equipped with both a Primary (P) and a Secondary (S) port, for redundant connections ensuring a maximal reliability.

Connect the Dante® Primary and Secondary ports on your Dante® network’s primary switch and secondary switch, respectively. Use Gigabit Ethernet network switches, optimized and setup for Dante®.

Download and install the Dante® Controller software on an external computer (macOS® or Windows®) to configure the Dante® parameters of your HOLOPHONIX Processor, and assign the receive (Rx) and transmit (Tx) channels to your audio system.

Primary & Secondary Ports Status LEDs

The 'Gigabit Link Status LED' is orange when a Gigabit Ethernet link is established.

The 'Activity & Link Status LED' is green when a link is established, and flashes to indicate activity.

Dante® Status LEDs

The Dante® network card integrates three status LEDs labeled 'ERR', 'SYNC', and 'SYS', reporting the device's system and clock synchronization status. SYS reports the status of the Dante® system on this card:

  • it is orange when the system is booting;
  • it turns green when the system has booted successfully and is operating properly,
  • if it persists to light orange, the system has failed to boot correctly.

SYNC reports the clock synchronization status of the Dante® device:

  • it is green (not flashing) if the device is synchronized to the PTP clock master (the device is a clock slave),
  • it is flashing green if the device is the PTP clock master,
  • it is orange if a network synchronization error occurred; obtaining a network synchronization can take up to 45 seconds.

All the LEDs will flash green when the 'IDENTIFY' function is activated from the Dante® Controller software.

If all the LEDs are flashing red, it indicates that errors have occurred on boot and that the Dante® system has entered 'failsafe' mode. Contact Amadeus for service instructions.

Ethernet Ports (RJ-45) #1-2-3

Connect your processor to your local area network for remote control (via the web interface), to send and receive OSC messages, and for internet access.

Ports #1 and #2 offer a gigabit connection (1 Gbps). Port #3 can offer up to a 10 Gbps data rate (with compatible network infrastructure).

It is recommended to use only one Ethernet Port on the processor for remote control, OSC and the internet. If the internet access is on a different network, you may use a second port. However, it is recommended to keep remote control and OSC together.

Use a high-speed (broadband) internet access point.

USB 3 Ports

These USB 3 ports on the rear panel allow connecting your control accessories quickly and easily.

To use your HOLOPHONIX station, you need two accessories: mouse and keyboard (not supplied).


The HOLOPHONIX processor hosts a powerful graphic card, equipped with four DisplayPort 1.4 ports. It is able to handle three 5K screens (5120 × 2880 pixels) with a 60 Hz refresh rate.

Connect a monitor to one of these ports to access the server interface of HOLOPHONIX for setup and maintenance operations.
