The Inspector displays the settings for all the following elements:

  • Sources
  • Direct-routings
  • Spatialization algorithm buses
  • Bass management (LFE)
  • Monitoring Bus
  • Speakers (Dante® outputs)

The selection bar can be used in several ways:

  • use the drop down arrow to choose an element from the list
  • use the search bar to find an element by its Name or OSC Address
  • you can select multiple elements by maintaining the 'SHIFT' key pressed.

Main Page

The main page of the inspector displays the general parameters of the Master bus, LFE Bus and the Monitoring Bus. Check their respective pages for more details on their settings.

Inspector Header

In the Inspector, every item’s header includes the element's name, an illustration and a color selector to ensure an easy identification in the preset.

When placing your mouse cursor over the top image, you can access the Copy, Paste and Lock functions, as well as the Navigation Arrows, and a button to reduce the size of the header.

Copy & Paste

Use these functions to copy all the settings of an object and apply them to another object.

You can only copy and paste settings from elements of the same class (for example, you can not copy settings from a speaker and paste them to a virtual source).

Use this button to lock an element and prevent it from being editing throughout the preset. However, even if an element is locked, it can still be edited with Open Sound Control message.

This field displays the name of the selected element. You can edit the name directly from this field.

You may also edit the elements name, color and main settings from the Overview view.

Click on the color dot to change the selected element's color. The selected color will be applied to the element's display through the different views of the interface.

You can simply pick a predefined color from the color palette, or use a custom color setting. To set a custom color, first use the Hue slider to choose a primary color, then adjust it with the gradient box.

You can also use the RGB values or hexadecimal color code fields to set the color. They are convenient when you need to copy a color to another element.

Caution: Transparency Slider

If you set an element's color transparency to the minimum value, you will not be able to see that element in some sections of the interface, such as the Routing view.

The best way to manage elements transparency in the 3D Venue is to use the 3D Venue Options Bar's Visibility Layers.

You may also edit the elements name, color and main settings from the Overview view.

OSC Address

This field shows the selected element's OSC Address to use when you want to control a parameter of that element. You can refer to the Open Sound Control section for more details.

Use the picture drop-down menu to choose the image to be displayed in the Inspector Header.

Choose the element to be displayed in the inspector with one of the following options:

  • Use the drop-down menu and search bar, which presents a complete list of the interface elements, sorted by category.
  • Click on the objects in the 3D VENUE
  • Select the object in the Mixer View
  • Use the navigation arrows to select the previous or the next element in the inspector's list.
