
Thierry Coduys
Creative Engineering Manager
Thierry Coduys is an internationally renowned sound designer who has spent over thirty years at the crossroads of contemporary music, digital art, and immersive scenography.
Trained at IRCAM, he began his career as an assistant to composer Luciano Berio, before collaborating with leading figures including Karlheinz Stockhausen, Steve Reich, Iannis Xenakis, Frank Zappa, Michel Portal, Daniel Buren, Pierre Huyghe, Brad Pitt, and Sasha Waltz.
He has performed in nearly all of the world’s major opera houses and symphony halls, creating works for iconic and diverse venues such as the Philharmonie de Paris, the cellars of Domaine Miraval, and the Venice Biennale — where he currently heads the Centre for Computer Music.
In 2016, he played a key role in launching the HOLOPHONIX project, which he co-founded with Gaëtan Byk. He now serves as Creative Engineering Manager, helping to shape the future of HOLOPHONIX through technical innovation and artistic vision.
